This tiny miniature bottle or bud vase with embossed bee was created from stoneware clay, glazed with coloured glazes and high fired twice. A third firing added the 24k gold trim on the bee
To create this piece first I created a ball vase plaster mould, then I liquified some stoneware clay and pored it into the mould, when the clay was set I added the little bee (made from my own homemade sprig mould) it was then allowed to dry and then it was fired in a kiln. A very sweet little bottle
