Cockatoo vase
This piece was hand sculpted from stoneware and porcelain clay, the bird was individually hand sculpted and applied to the slab rolled vase with liquid clay, after it was allowed to dry it was hand painted with underglaze colours, it was then fired twice in my kiln, the 2nd firing provided a permanent protective glossy finish,
no moulds were used and as such you will own an original (one of a kind) piece of art which will stand the test of time and will be passed down from generation to generation. Investment art, It would make a wonderful house warming or Christmas gift
Please note as this is hand made pottery there may be minor flaws/imperfections (which add to its handmade charm ;)
