Cornucopia or Horn of Plenty was hand sculpted from porcelain clay and depicts a farmer and her husband sitting aloft the rewards of their efforts growing produce, it's been a good year for them. Every item was sculpted by hand, starting with the cornucopia and then I sculpted the fruit and vegetables one by one until I had enough to fill the horn, finally the little farmers were sculpted and positioned on the top to admire their work :)

The piece underwent two high kiln firings, the 2nd firing provided a permanent protective glossy finish, no moulds were used and each one is a one of a kind original.

This piece was chosen to be in the Woollhara Small Sculpture Prize where it was selected as one of 43 finalists from over 700 entries.

This would make a lovely gift... art is a wonderful investment, a piece of my art that I sold a few years ago tripled it's value on another auction site earlier this year.

It is 14cm high and 33cm long
Stamped or signed underneath
As with all of my pieces it is one of a kind, as it is hand crafted please expect there may be minor flaws (all part of the hand made charm)
