Small wheel thrown kookaburra trinket dish
Hand crafted from stoneware & porcelain clay, this pieces (as with all my pieces) is one of a kind (OOAK) it features 5 hand sculpted little kookaburras, branches and leaves adhered with liquid clay to a hand crafted dish
Glazed with underglaze colours for the birds then clear glaze on top, the rest of the dish was glazed with blue toned glazes which I mixed to create a unique piece.
This dish would be wonderful as a nuts or candy dish (the glazes are food safe) or it could be used as a trinket dish for keys, coins watches etc. it is a dish that will be handed down through generations.
No moulds are used for any of my sculptures.
