kookaburra dish
Hand crafted from stoneware & porcelain clay, this pieces (as with all my pieces) is one of a kind (OOAK) it features hand sculpted little koala and kookaburra, adhered with liquid clay to a hand crafted dish
kookas were glazed with underglaze colours clear glaze on top, the rest of the dish was glazed with multi toned glazes in a layering effect which I mixed to create a unique piece.
This dish would be wonderful as a nuts or candy dish (the glazes are food safe) or it could be used as a trinket dish for keys, coins watches etc. it is a dish that will be handed down through generations.
No moulds are used for any of my sculptures.
